“Firefly” is a snow crocus that is a bright sign of Spring. Blooming early (usually March), these 20 bulbs should be clustered in groupings of 3-5 bulbs for maximum impact, close to the front of a sunny flower garden.
Crocus can even be planted in the lawn by lifting the grass and popping under the layer of green. What a surprise in the Spring!
Squirrels do like crocus, so consider planting crocus bulbs with ActiSol, dehydrated Hen Manure, to deter them.
