It’s a double blooming tulip – fancy! Double blooming tulips have extra layers of petals (not as many as a peony tulip however). The gold tone of the bloom will shine in a Spring garden; plant in sunny spots.
Blooming mid season (usually early May). 6 bulbs per package; tulips are best to be planted in small groupings.
Squirrels like tulips; consider planting with ActiSol, dehydrated Hen Manure, to deter them.
