Rio Dipladenia are one of the most popular tropical plants available. Plants are hardy and perform well in partial sun to full sun and tolerate inconsistent watering or dryness – perfect for cottagers! Leaves are shiny and blooms are abundant. Old blooms will dry and fall off or, to keep tidy, a light once-a-week deadheading can be done.
Diplandenia are filler plants, not vining like their cousin, Mandevillia. Each plant will spread to 12-14″ (width and height) and should be given room in a planter to grow.
