Recently, we offered a “Spring Bulb” Seminar that was very well attended, with participants returning home with inspiration, hand outs, goodie bags and door prizes.
Check back often to see availability.
Saturday, May 03, 10:00 a.m.
POOR WEATHER DATE: Sunday, May 04 (We will contact participants if this date change is made)
Cost: $10.00*
In this informative seminar, you will listen and learn with Vikki plus Jennifer, who is Master Gardener Certified and passionate about Native Plants. Details will focus on the benefits of Native Plant gardening and ways to integrate them into your current landscape. To incorporate native perennials into your garden you don't need to 'rip everything out"! Moderation is the key (to all in life, really) and they will demonstrate ways this can be done in a beautiful and environmentally respectful way. An informative handout will be offered; you are encouraged to take additional notes.
Specific plant species will be highlighted (the faves); wide varieties will be in stock for a "show and tell". Opportunities for specific questions will be offered at the end of the presentation.
Seating is limited, so the $10.00 fee ensures your space in this popular session. Customer Cardholders will be reimbursed the fee in points, which they can spend at any time.

You've all been asking, so we're offering a "listen and learn" session on the basics of vegetable gardening hosted and led by Chris (Master Gardener Certified). At this time of year (when most veggies are in plentiful stock), we don't have a lot of space available, so we'll gather (after hours, the Store will be closed for this private event) amongst the herbs and veggies in our uncovered edibles section. We ask that you bring your own chair to plunk down. A handout will be provided.
Topics will include garden placement, soil amendment, planting basics, nutrition, disease, pests, and harvest. You will be welcome to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
Seating is limited; the $10.00 fee ensures your space in this sure-to-be popular session. Customer Card Holders will be reimbursed the fee, in points, to spend at anytime.
